What makes your station special?
Close to Munich, directly into adventure. The location in Puchheim is perfect: centrally accessible, quick access to the motorway, and immediate access to the Alps, lakes, or the south. We are Hannes Camper's southernmost station in Germany and very close to neighboring countries. Manager Nils puts his heart and experience behind every vehicle. He only sells and rents what he believes in – based on years of sales experience and his personal passion for campers.
This is our travel destination insider tip for our guests:
Ardèche: The Lost Cave of Aven (near Orgnac-l'Aven) - While everyone flocks to the crowded Grotte Chauvet or Pont d'Arc, at Aven Grotte Forestière you can visit a small, ancient stalactite cave run by a local family. Here, you can not only look, but also touch, photograph, and ask questions. The atmosphere is almost magical, without the crowds. Tip: Combine your visit with a hike through the nearby Forêt de Bois de Ronze forest—little known but full of ancient oaks and beautiful viewpoints.
Start your motorhome heading south along the A95, along beautiful lakes and picturesque mountains. Make a stop in Garmisch-Partenkirchen before exploring the beautiful mountains of the Bavarian Alps. Bavaria is the only German state that has a share in the Alps.
There are numerous campsites and parking spaces for your motorhome near the Zugspitze. Of course, a hike to the Zugspitze should not be missed. Pack enough travel provisions because it will be an exhausting hike. As a reward, a Bavarian specialty is available for you in a restaurant.
Munich – Italy
From Munich you drive south in your motorhome, through Innsbruck over the border to Italy. Our first destination is Lake Garda. Head to a campsite directly on Lake Garda and unbuckle your bikes from the bike rack. The Tour del Lago di Garda is the tour around Lake Garda. The route is not for couch potatoes. But the effort is worth it. From Lake Garda you continue south until you arrive in Tuscany. Tuscany is considered a stronghold of European culture and history.

Munich – Austria
Experience the most wonderful time of the year, your vacation, with Hannes Camper. Drive in your unique panel van past Lake Chiemsee, via the A8, towards Salzburg. For all nature lovers, there is something for everyone in Austria. Hiking in the mountains, with an idyllic Alpine backdrop or a bike ride past turquoise mountain lakes.
Discover the country of our southern neighbors with your motorhome. Start your Austria route at Walchsee. If you like water, you've come to the right place. Park your motorhome and visit the Aqua Fun Park or get on a sailing ship and enjoy the perfect atmosphere.
Leave your cozy place to sleep and visit Zell am See, 70 kilometers away. Take a trip to the Hohe Tauern National Park.
The next stop with our motorhome is the capital of the southern Austrian state of Carinthia, Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. Breathtaking sights await you here. The Lindwurm Fountain, the Old Square in the center and the Klagenfurt Cathedral. If you want to take a sightseeing break now and then, we recommend taking a break in Europa Park.
