    Four questions

Maybe you will already find the right answer for the Munich station here.

What brought you to Hannes Camper?
We are passionate campers ourselves – starting out in the classic way with a tent. Over time, this evolved into our own campervan, which we have continued to optimize. Today we travel with a rooftop tent, all-around mounted spotlights, and a roof terrace with a ladder – and take every free opportunity to be outdoors.
We didn't want to keep this enthusiasm to ourselves, but to share it. Nils's desire to turn his hobby into a profession ultimately led him to Hannes Camper. We were particularly impressed by his personal and warm manner.
When our plan to move to southern Germany came to fruition, it quickly became clear: Munich was the perfect location for our next step. Today, we are proud to be part of the Hannes Camper family and to share our passion for mobile travel with others.
How big is your rental fleet?
16 campervans, consisting of the premium brands Hannes Camper Van and VIICA Vans, as well as the basic category with the model Sunlight Cliff 600, Adventure Edition, automatic transmission. 80% of the rental vehicles already have an automatic transmission.
    What makes your station special?
For Nils, one thing has always been clear: you can only truly excel at what you love. Selling products you don't 100% believe in? Not his style. With his many years of experience in sales and his honest, direct manner, he knows exactly what matters: authenticity, quality, and genuine trust. That's precisely why he ended up at Hannes Camper. Everything just fits together perfectly here – well-thought-out design, high functionality, and that special feeling of freedom that only a camper can truly convey. Nils has turned his hobby into his profession. He knows life on the road from his own experience, understands what's important, and appreciates the many small details that make a truly great camper. The craftsmanship and clever design of the vehicles impress him not only as managing director but also as a passionate camper himself. And because every camper is as individual as the journey itself, our services don't stop at buying or renting: Together with strong partners from the region – including the company delta4x4 – we make it happen. individual modifications Exactly according to your wishes. We have a [something] for this purpose in the Puchheim industrial area. well-established network built by: Automotive workshops over Paint shops and Foils ...all the way to electricians and parts specialists. This way we can offer you a genuine all-round service offer – from Rental and Sale over individual modifications to Repairs and improvements. With us, you get more than just a vehicle: honest advice on equal terms, a strong servicee and people who know exactly what they're talking about – because they themselves love to travel just as much as you do. Our personal tips & tricks for your campervan trip

    • Hiking: Use the apps Komoot or AllTrails for the best routes – it's best to download the maps beforehand in case you don't have network coverage on the go.

    • Looking for a spontaneous parking spot? The Park4Night app helps you quickly find a suitable place. Pay attention to good reviews and look at the pictures to avoid unpleasant surprises.
    • Water and waste disposal: You can also quickly find a suitable station for fresh water, grey water, and black water via Park4Night. Some stations are free, for example, at rest stops. Others require payment at a coin-operated machine. It's a good idea to collect some small change before your camping trip.

Wild camping & free camping – please observe the following rules:

    1. Leave no trash behind and leave the place as you found it – or even cleaner!
    2. No camping behavior: Tables, chairs and awnings should remain in the camper – wild camping should be as inconspicuous as possible.
    3. Observe local regulations: Wild camping is generally prohibited in nature reserves, national parks, or on private property without permission. It is also expressly forbidden in some regions, such as South Tyrol, Ticino, Vorarlberg, Salzburg, and Styria, and may be punishable by law.
    4. Rest stops are not places to sleep: Exercise particular caution here – not everyone you meet there has good intentions.
    5. Listen to your gut feeling: If you feel unsafe at a campsite, it's better to move on.

Tip for a safe & special overnight stay:

Many farms and wineries offer pitches for campers – here you have a comfortable alternative to the classic campsite and feel well looked after.

How do you find them? Simply select the "Agriturismo" filter in the Park4Night app.

    Winter camping

Skiing with a campervan – how to make your winter adventure perfect

    1. Warm camper & reliable heating – feel comfortable at any temperature
    • Our motorhomes are optimally insulated (25 mm Armaflex), so it stays pleasantly warm inside.
    • Our water pipes run in the insulated floor, which protects them better from the cold than with many other manufacturers.
    • Our diesel-powered auxiliary heater (at Hannes Campervans) provides continuous warmth – no more annoying gas bottle changes!
    • The heater should also run while driving to keep the interior and water pipes frost-free.
    1. Optimal camping and pitch options for winter sports enthusiasts
    • Many winter campsites ideally offer electricity hook-up, heated sanitary facilities and drying rooms for ski equipment.
    • In addition, you can expect top pitches directly in the ski area, such as:
    • Camping Sölden – Directly at the Gaislachkogel cable car
    • Alpen Caravan Park Achensee – Perfect for cross-country skiers and downhill skiers
    • Camping Grubhof (Leogang/Saalbach) – With a wellness area for pure relaxation
    • It's worth booking early – the best seats are highly sought after!
    1. Properly equipped for snow & ice
    • Winter tires are a must, and snow chains are a good companion for alpine roads.
    • Tip: You can book suitable snow chains for our motorhomes as an add-on – so you are perfectly equipped for all road conditions.
    • Additional tip: Buy a de-icing spray to ensure you can continue to operate all locks without any problems.
