Where exactly are we hiding?

Hannes Camper Lübeck is somewhat hidden in Ratekau. Just past the hall. We're in an idyllic location with a view of the orchard meadow at the bend.

Ralf and Tim are the frontmen at our station. Steffi and Carola work in the background, while Ralf and Tim assist with handovers and briefings. Ralf Giese is wholeheartedly involved and also lovingly takes care of vehicle care and maintenance. We welcome you at our Hannes Camper reception desk, and we always have a coffee ready for you!

Many of our guests head north. Ingrid and Günter are no exception. In May 2025, the two set off from here toward the North Cape. We absolutely love accompanying such unforgettable journeys and are always delighted to receive beautiful travel photos from the journey.

Since our motorhomes are in high demand, we do not always have a sample vehicle on site. We therefore ask you to make an appointment by telephone or via our website Contact form.

    We are the gateway to beautiful Scandinavia. With ferries in Travemünde and Kiel, Sweden is just a short ferry ride away. Many guests leave their cars with us, repack, and continue north.
    This is our travel destination insider tip for our guests:
    The first stop doesn't have to be far. Especially for our new guests or those who have already completed a long car journey north, we recommend an initial overnight stay in Holstein Switzerland, for example, at Lake Plön.

    Do you want to start the day straight with a city tour? Then secure a motorhome parking space directly between the city moat and the Trave - Media Docks parking space.

    If you would like to spend a weekend in Lübeck, there is Lübeck's most central campsite - Camping Lübeck-Schönböcken, just 4 km from the gates of the historic old town island.

    There is a very good bus connection to Lübeck's old town directly at the campsite.
