Rent a motorhome in Wetter (Ruhr)

At home in the Ruhr area, on the road in Europe. Our Hannes Camper Station is located in Wetter an der Ruhr – right in the heart of a region that might not immediately come to mind when you think of camping. But Wetter is actually a pretty great starting point for a campervan trip. The Sauerland region is practically on our doorstep, the Dutch border is just a short drive away, and you can easily head off towards the North Sea, the Eifel region, the Moselle Valley, or further south. We love this combination: being at home in the middle of the Ruhr area and waking up in a completely different place just a few hours later. Our station is brand new. That's why we're so happy to welcome every guest who picks up their Hannes campervan and then returns with their own stories. Whether it's a two-week summer holiday with the family, a spontaneous weekend getaway for two, or simply trying camping for the first time – in the end, it doesn't matter to us how far you travel. The most important thing is that you have a great time.

Traveling with children is wonderful – but anyone who has ever done it knows that things rarely go exactly according to plan. And perhaps that's precisely why a camper van is so well suited for a family holiday. You have your own little home with you, can take breaks when needed, and don't have to be somewhere at a certain time every day. When a place is particularly beautiful, you simply stay longer. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, you just move on. It is precisely this freedom that we love about traveling with a campervan. With our family vehicle Hannes, we therefore also have a vehicle in our fleet that is particularly interesting for trips with several people. During the handover, we will show you everything in peace and answer any questions that may arise when you get in. Because the vacation shouldn't only begin after the first hundred kilometers. Those who have frequently traveled with a campervan probably know many procedures by heart. However, first-time campervan renters are suddenly faced with entirely different questions: Where does the water go? How does the refrigerator work? What do I need to know about the electricity? And what about the awning? That's why, for us, a good rental service involves more than just a clean vehicle and a key. At handover, we'll go through the campervan with you. We'll explain the important functions, show you what to look out for on the road, and take the time to answer your questions. No one needs to worry about asking the "wrong" thing. After all, you should feel comfortable and at ease with your campervan, Hannes. We deliberately keep our station personal and manageable. We know our vehicles, we know their features – and when you pick up your campervan from us, you shouldn't just be another booking number. A bit like we ourselves would want to be at a campervan rental company.
