1. Brühl city trip with a motorhome from Düsseldorf
The small, charming town on the border with Cologne is probably well known to many because it is home to the famous amusement park.Phantasialand” is located, which alone is worth the trip. But Brühl offers much more. In addition to the many beautiful lakes and its Kottenforst/Ville recreation area, you can do that in Brühl World Heritage Site Augustusburg Castle with its impressive, baroque gardens and that Falkenlust hunting lodge visit. Directly adjacent is the beautiful city center with its many cafes and restaurants.

Brühl is the ideal starting point to visit the cities of Cologne and Bonn in your comfortable motorhome. Train and tram connections in both directions are ideal for leaving the camper behind. For example on the beautiful one Campsite at Heider Bergsee in Brühl.
But Brühl also offers an action-packed family holiday. There is the great one Climbing Forest “Free from giddiness”. climbing tower “TurmX” where brave people can throw themselves down the tower wall headfirst Water ski facility at Bleibtreusee. So you don't have to drive long from our Hannes Camper Station to spend a few really nice days on vacation.
2. Unforgettable holiday with a motorhome in the Eifel
Brühl is the gateway to the beautiful Eifel. From our station you can take the motorhome directly onto the A553/A1 to Heimbach and you're there Eifel National Park.
The Eifel is so varied that it is difficult to describe it briefly. There is the North Eifel with the beautiful dams “Rurtalsperre” and “Urfttalsperre” and the romantic one Eifel town of Monschau. Here you can take leisurely walks and enjoy nature to the fullest.
Discover the fascinating Vulkaneifel with its “eyes”, the maars. Lakes formed in the volcanic funnels of the many small volcanoes. Caution! Some are still active 😊

Important questions about renting a camper in Düsseldorf
Which camper is right for us?
The ones best suited for couples and young families Hannes and the Hannes Automatik . We have it for traveling with a dog Dogs Hannes and the Big dogs Hannes. They are suitable for families or several people Families Hannes, the Big Hannes and the Large Hannes Automatic .
How and where do we get gas on the way?
When the vehicle is handed over, you will receive an 11 kg gas bottle that is sufficiently filled for your holiday. If, contrary to expectations, you run out of gas, you have the option of having the gas bottles refilled at many petrol stations and most campsites. Of course you can also book a second gas bottle with us as an add-on.
Please note that there are different connections and different gas bottles abroad and that you need an adapter to fill a German gas bottle, for example. However, we always have enough filled gas bottles in stock so that you can travel well-equipped.
Which driving license do we need for the camper?
The normal class B car driving license is sufficient, as a Hannes camper only has a total weight of 3,5 tonnes. The low weight also gives you further advantages when it comes to tolls and ferries.
Does our Hannes have a full tank?
Yes, down to the last drop! And you have to give it back as well. Otherwise the camper will be refueled by us and the sum plus an administration fee of €30,00 will be charged.
How big should our camper be?
If you're traveling as a couple, that's enough Hannes out of. We recommend this for a family Families Hannes. If you prefer something a little more spacious, choose this Great Hannes. Alternatively, you can choose the respective premium version. If you want to go on vacation with your dog, this is it Dogs Hannes or the Big dogs Hannes the right choice.
Is there a personal instruction and test drive?
Yes, you should plan about an hour for this if you have not already been on the road with a camper. There are many functions and you should feel completely safe and well prepared for your trip.
What additional costs will we have to pay?
Basically none - Hannes Camper stands for a simple price model.
In addition to the booking price per day, there is only a one-off service fee of €99 (€149 for Hannes the dog and Hannes the big dog).
We will hand over your Hannes to you completely clean and equipped as described in the respective vehicle category. There are no additional costs for cleaning the outside and inside when you return the vehicle. You must return your Hannes clean-swept. However, we have to charge you for heavy soiling or damage (e.g. upholstery) at cost and invoice you after your trip or treat it as insurance damage.
Are there parking spaces directly on the Rhine in Düsseldorf?
Yes, the parking space on the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf is very popular. From there, you can reach the Old Town and the Media Harbour in just a few minutes.
Which excursions are worth taking for a weekend from Düsseldorf?
Tours to Holland (Maastricht, Venlo), the Bergisches Land or the Moselle are perfect.
Can I buy provisions in Neuss before departure?
Yes, there are numerous supermarkets nearby, as well as the Rheinpark-Center Neuss with a wide selection.
