Start your journey with your motorhome from Bonn. Discover the most beautiful sights with your lovingly furnished Hannes camper.

Cologne is a lively and diverse city in western Germany. It is known for its impressive history, architecture, vibrant culture and openness. The city is home to the famous Cologne Cathedral, which is one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in Europe. Cologne is also known for its colorful nightlife, the many cafés, pubs, clubs, its numerous museums and galleries, as well as for the carnival. The city invites you to shop with the most heavily frequented pedestrian zone in Germany.

The Rhine promenade and old town offers beautiful views of the river and the cathedral and is a popular meeting point for locals and tourists. Rent. Sea. Freedom.

Our top travel destinations for a holiday with a camper from Bonn

If you don't know where to go yet, we have three travel recommendations for you. Get in, drive off, vacation!

Brühl city trip with a motorhome from Bonn

The small, charming town on the outskirts of Cologne is probably well known to many because the famous “Phantasialand” amusement park is located here, which alone is worth a trip. But Brühl offers much more. In addition to the many beautiful lakes and its Kottenforst/Ville recreation area, you can visit the World Heritage Augustusburg Castle with its impressive baroque gardens and the Falkenlust hunting lodge in Brühl. The beautiful city center is directly adjacent, with its many cafés and restaurants.

Our insider tip: Niko, one of the owners of our Hannes Camper Station in Cologne is not only a passionate camper, but also runs the café and coffee roastery “moccafair” in the center of Brühl. Coffee lovers should definitely plan a visit here!

Brühl is the ideal starting point to visit the cities of Cologne and Bonn in your comfortable motorhome. Train and tram connections in both directions are ideal for leaving the camper behind. For example at the beautiful campsite at Heider Bergsee in Brühl.

But Brühl also offers an action-packed family holiday. There is the great climbing forest “Geschwindelfrei”, the climbing tower “TurmX” where brave people can throw themselves headfirst down the tower wall and the water ski facility at Bleibtreusee. So you don't have to drive long from our Hannes Camper Station to spend a few really nice days on vacation.

Unforgettable holiday with a motorhome in the Eifel

Brühl is the gateway to the beautiful Eifel. From our station you can take the motorhome directly onto the A553/A1 to Heimbach and you are in the Eifel National Park.

The Eifel is so varied that it is difficult to describe it briefly. There is the North Eifel with the beautiful dams “Rurtalsperre” and “Urfttalsperre” and the romantic Eifel town of Monschau. Here you can take leisurely walks and enjoy nature to the fullest.

Discover the fascinating Vulkaneifel with its “eyes”, the maars. Lakes formed in the volcanic funnels of the many small volcanoes. Caution! Some are still active 😊

The Schneeifel is completely different again and of course not to forget, a highlight for all motorsport fans, the Nürburgring. The High Fens, a raised moor on the border with Belgium, breaks the image of the hilly Eifel landscape. There you can spend unforgettable nights in your cozy beds at a campsite.

What our customers say

I don't know how it could be better. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and competent. The communication was exemplary. All the information came at exactly the right time and nothing was missed. During the briefing, every detail was explained calmly. The motorhome was like new and super insulated (quiet). We are looking forward to the next trip and will be regular guests 🙂

100% recommendation for anyone who wants to go on holiday with a camper. We received great advice from an incredibly nice team. Even if we had smaller questions during our vacation, someone was always available and helped us in a friendly manner. The motorhome was like new, drove us reliably throughout Europe and was well equipped - you had everything you needed. So we felt completely comfortable throughout our entire vacation. Gladly again!

As “newcomers” we received very good and competent advice. All of our questions and concerns were addressed and in the end we found “our” camper. Looking forward to our trip 🙂

From Bonn to our station in Cologne

Our station in Brühl is located southwest of Cologne. In 2023 we were able to win Niko as a Frinchise partner and thus open our next Hannes Camper Station in North Rhine-Westphalia.
