The most beautiful Christmas markets

The days are getting shorter again. It gets dark earlier. Many of you are slowly starting to look forward to the Advent season. Christmas markets open their doors. After a long break, you can look forward to the usual Christmas atmosphere and magnificently decorated cities.

We think that Christmas market and campers go very well together and why not try something new. We have selected four Christmas markets for you here, which you will not find in the usual overviews, which can be easily reached and experienced with a camper van. Trying out delicacies, enjoying punch or mulled wine and not having parked the camper far away make a visit to a Christmas market all the more beautiful. After the visit, you can make yourself comfortable in your camper and end the evening relaxed.

Top destinations for December holidays in Germany

The Christmas market takes place in the Alpine town of Bad Reichenhall on the town hall square. In the old town you will find a life-size crib. The whole city is in the wonderful Christmas magic. From the “Wohnmobilpark Rupertus-Therme” parking space, it’s only a 15-minute walk there.

The Christmas market at Koberg in Lübeck is also a real experience. Based on the earlier Lübeck times, a small fishing village is being built in the old seafarers' quarter. From the parking space at "Parkplatz P 4" and the "Media Docks" parking space, it is approx. 1 kilometer to the city center of Marienkirchhof.

Traben-Trarbach on the Middle Moselle invites its visitors to the underground Christmas market in its former wine cellar. Please note that the opening hours here are only from Friday to Sunday. The market is not open from Monday to Thursday. From the “Traben Trabach mobile home parking space” it is about a 20-minute walk to the Christmas market.

The Tölz Christmas market with its backdrop of the historic old town is also worth a visit. From the parking space "on the Isar" you are in the city center in 10 minutes.
